Vascudyne Medical Advisor Dr. Matt Soule Conducts Advanced VCAB-2 Training at Poznań Medical Institute
POZNAŃ, POLAND – Vascudyne announced that Dr. Matt Soule, the company’s medical advisor and cardiothoracic surgeon at the University of Minnesota, recently conducted specialized training at the Poznań Lab Instytut Medycyny Praktycznej for VCAB-2 trial investigators. The comprehensive cadaver-based training session focused on the surgical techniques and best practices for using Vascudyne’s ATEV (Acellular Tissue-Engineered Vessel) technology in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedures.
Dr. Soule’s visit to the Poznań facility represents a critical milestone in preparing EU investigators for the VCAB-2 clinical trial, which will evaluate Vascudyne’s innovative small-diameter, acellular vessel manufactured through advanced tissue engineering specifically for coronary bypass applications. The hands-on cadaver-based training ensures that trial investigators are thoroughly prepared to utilize this breakthrough technology, which addresses the significant clinical need for superior small-diameter vascular grafts in cardiac surgery. This training initiative demonstrates Vascudyne’s commitment to clinical excellence and successful trial execution as the company advances its tissue-engineered vascular solutions toward broader clinical adoption for patients requiring coronary artery bypass surgery.
