Dr. Claude Amos has over 20 years of experience at Goldman Sachs, serving in key roles in New York, London, and Zurich, where he advised Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and families. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Swiss University of St. Gallen prior to joining Wall Street.
During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Dr. Amos quickly became a prominent contributor in Wealth Management, cultivating strong relationships with significant financial groups and families around the world. As an active trader on the trading floor, he utilized a diverse range of financial asset classes and solutions strategies.
Dr. Amos developed a management style that integrates advanced behavioral finance concepts, effectively mitigating risk through tactical protective asset allocation and dynamic portfolio rebalancing. This approach enhances value by reducing pricing volatility and correlation risks among underlying assets.
Currently, he dedicates his expertise to selected clients and partners, advising on strategic positioning and facilitating agreements or arbitrations among major financial entities. Additionally, Dr. Amos serves on the boards of early-stage companies, promoting cutting-edge technology and innovation. He plays a pivotal role in building teams of world-class experts and facilitating research translation, licensing, and commercialization efforts for the benefit of large patient populations.
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Amos is passionate about the arts and music, enjoying classical oil painting and exploring technical interpretations of J.S. Bach’s preludes.
